ABOUT
Ariane Souza is a professional actress, singer, and dancer based in Sydney, Australia, born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Ariane’s passion, positivism and commitment are what defines each work that she approaches. Her next challenge will be developed at JMC Academy for her second bachelor this time in Songwriting and Music Production.
In June 2021, she played as a lead in Kind of Alaska directed by Shane Anthony. In 2020, Ariane acted in a short film Disturbance and also found her passion as a production designer for The Bank Heist for Sydney Actors School. In 2020, she did her first TV commercial for George Bank and in 2021 for Bulk Nutrients. And she is also part of the ensemble at Rio Projekt as a vocalist and dancer. And had her first feat song with Mike Champion.
Since 2016 Ariane has been living in Australia to further her career as a versatile artist and explore diverse artistic avenues in music, dance and theatre. She has studied to become a Dance Teacher at the Australian College of Dance and has just graduated with Advanced Diploma in Acting at the Sydney Actors School after two years of a full-time course. Where she had the opportunity to be trained by Rebecca Johnston, Kevin Jackon, Pip Edwards, Garth Holcombe, Phillip Quast, Kim Hardwick, Simon Masteron, Lyn Pierce, Stephen Hunter, Felicity Jurd, Roel Voorbij, Julia Cotton, Cj Johnston, Joshua Belinfante and Linda Nicholls-Gidley.
She started learning ballet at the age of 8 and kung-fu at the age of 9 while participating in several championships in Brazil and the USA. She studied at the Academy of Dance Art in Sao Paulo training in Jazz, Hip Hop, Commercial and Latin partner dances and went on to perform with the urban dance Company Punktion. Her dedication to communication led her to study and graduate university with a degree in Journalism.
